After some questions on my progress from my friend Tony from East Texas, I figured it was time for an update. I haven't really touched the project since January when I finished the tail other than the fiberglass tips for the stabilizers, rudder, and elevators.
I have taken some time off as we have had a busy spring with a vacation, basketball, track, baseball, etc. I am still saving up the final amount for the wing kit and will be purchasing that sometime this summer. I will be working on the tips and have talked to Gerry about what needs to be done. Once I get the ball rolling I will post my progress.
The two pictures show one of the tips trimmed and taped into place. I will use pulled rivets to secure it to the elevator and then it will be glassed over to smooth things out. I have never worked with fiberglass before so Gerry will be a big help.
The last picture shows a larger TV that I have mounted in the shop which will be nice to have.
