Brief Description: Mounted elevator trim servo to access plate.
This morning I pulled out the electric elevator trim kit. I mounted the stand offs to the plate, bolted the servo on and then realized I drilled the holes off by about a 1/4", enough to ruin the laser cut mounting plate. I traced it on some scrap aluminum and made another one myself. It turned out OK, but doesn't look as good as the original would have. It will work just fine, but doesn't look as good as I would like. If I don't mention it again, no one will probably ever notice that it isn't perfect.
The manual said to mount the servo prior to closing up the skin because it is easier in that order, which I believe. It is cool to have something to play with that has wires and stuff.
