Today I spent some time riveting the structure of the vertical stabilizer together using the squeezer, but the 3 rivets that connect the bottom two ribs to the forward spar were very difficult. I had to clamp the spar to the workbench and use my offset rivet set and a variety of bucking bars to get these three set. Then I used the flush rivet set and my tungsten bucking bar to rivet the skin to the front spar and middle rib. Once that was done, my squeezer made quick work of the perimeter rivets, and then I used my pneumatic blind rivet tool to attach the rear spar to the middle rib. Another major section done!
