Brief Description: rivetting elevators to horizontal stabilizer
Today was another good day. I had been very concerned about being sure I could meet the specified up and down travel of the elevators. I was not worried about upward deflection, it is more than enough. but the downward travel is limited by the forward edge of the elevators meeting the back edge of the horizontal stabilizer. I checked this with a digital inclinometer and found that all is good. So I deburred the skins, rivetted them and attached them to the hinges which mounted them to the horizontal stabilizer. This was a big milestone that I am really happy about.
