Brief Description: forward spar of horizontal stabilizer
built forward spar of horizontal stabilizer using the following steps: 1) cut to length the spar caps and false spars per the plans 2) laid the spar caps on a sheet of 0.020 aluminum 3) drilled and clecoed the spar caps at center with a measured distance of 2 inches apart. 4) used C-clamps to draw the ends of the spar caps together to a distance of 1.5 inches 5) verified uniform curvature of the spar caps, then drilled and clecoed them to the 0.020 web 6) Removed clecoes in the center of the spar, match drilled the false spars, reset clecoes 7) used a sharpie to mark the 0.020 sheet at top and bottom of spar 8) removed all clecoes and spars, cut out web on marked lines 9) deburred all holes and smoothed all edges 10) reassembled all parts and riveted together
