Brief Description:  laying out fin for cutting from aluminum sheet

I laid out the angles involved in cutting the blank for the fin. I had some struggles with trigonometry, but eventually I felt sure I had all the angles and straight lines properly drawn onto my aluminum sheet. But I could not get the curve on the top of the fin looking right, so I was afraid to cut it. I had only taken the plans page called "sheet metal cookie sheets" out to the hangar with me, because on all my other cutting trips the cookie sheets contained all the information I needed to cut the parts I was working on. In the case of the fin, that was not enough. I gave up and went home. There I found that page 3 of the plans, "fin and rudder assembly", had the information I needed...a radius and center for two curves at the front and back of the top of the fin, plus the length of a straight section between the two curves.
