I started out today by taking the CX4 outside the hangar and using my newly-installed and connected rudder pedals to waggle my rudder in the sunshine. Next I did a pretty major rearrangement of the hangar so I could install the wings onto the fuselage in preparation for working on the ailerons connecting rods. The hangar rearrangement was difficult, because I wanted to maintain enough clearance to walk around both airplanes, and also make it easy to pull the Baby Ace in and out in order to keep flying while working on the Thatcher. The only way I can fit them both is to lift the tailwheel of the baby ace over the wing of the Thatcher, and set it on a desk behind the wing.
