I got a very good start on the bends for the ailerons. Two members of my EAA chapter helped me get some nice straight bends started, using an old 8-foot brake one of them had in a barn near the airport. The first two bends are very close to their final position, and I will be able to fine tune them by hand. the third bend, the very acute bend at the trailing edge of the aileron, will take some more effort. I think I will do something with a 2 X 6 and door hinges to get that bend into its final form.
