I got tired of moving the spar past the drill press, and having to re-level it after each move. so I set the drill press on a piece of plywood wrapped in waxed paper so it would slide around easily, and set the spar up on some supports clear of the drill press table. That way I could do 15 or 20 holes before having to stop and re-position everything. The drill press slid back and forth in the space between two supports.
