Brief Description: finished camlock installs, raised tailwheel to lev
Today I finished the installation of the seven camlock fasteners which connect the top cowl to the flange on the firewall. This firms up the location of that cowl, so I can work on the adjustments to the parting line between top and bottom cowls. Another step I want to take to firm things up is to install some side sheets and the top sheet covering the fuel tank. To support those actions, I lowered the fuel tank about 1 and one-quarter inch so it will fit under the skin. and in turn, to fine-tune the position of the fuel tank, I elevated the tail wheel to put the plane in level-flight attitude.
