Brief Description:  finally got 50 PSI indication on oil pressure gaug

This was a good day, even though it was a short one. I started out by checking the continuity of the wires from the pressure sensor to the meter. They all checked out good, so I looked at the dipstick and noticed that the oil level was about 3/16 " higher than it was at end of day yesterday. I took this to mean that I must have been moving oil and had some oil outside the sump, which returned to the sump overnight. With that theory, I spun the prop again and still no pressure indication. So I looked closer at the dipstick and noted that it was below the max, so I added more oil until it was about 3/16" above the highest line on the dipstick. Then I spun the prop again and the oil pressure peaked at just a hair over 50 PSI. I noticed that after it reached its peak, the pressure started to drop slightly and I assumed that meant I have probablly exhausted my battery, so I called it a day. Fun to see the meter working.
