Brief Description: evaluation and planning next steps on cowling
Spent some time going over the assembled halves of the cowling. Note how in Image 1 below, the air inlet holes appear to be oval or oblong. They are intended to be circles, so some trimming will be needed. It is clear in Images 2 and 3 that the parting lines along the sides do not meet in a straight line, so some trimming will be required there as well. It will take some time to decide how much gets trimmed off the top as opposed to how much trimmed off the bottom. So lots remains to be done on these cowls.
