Brief Description: continuing mold preparation for top cowl
Reviewed microballoon work previously completed. Made some additional cuts and sanding on the cradle to facilitate holding the mold with the parting lines at 33" apart, for proper clearance from rocker arm covers. Positioned the mold in a position that makes the next repair areas as close as possible to flat and level, to minimize sagging of the next layer of microballoons. Mixed up 25 g of epoxy and 10 g of hardener, painted areas to be repaired with pure epoxy, then mixed up microballoons and filled in another area of mold defects.
