I removed the top of the (too large) plenum which I had installed years ago and began making preparations for the cowling plug mold. I cut a 2" skirt of 0.032" aluminum and rivetted it to the firewall to provide an aft landing area for the cowl. for now, I'm keeping the side baffles that had been part of that first plenum. They may or may not need to be trimmed a bit, that will come later.
