Brief Description: work on fuselage skin and bulkheads
practiced removing and reinstalling fuselage side skin on right side, trimmed to size and deburred edge. Made plan for how to deal with twist in fuselage: cut a shim section of aluminum angle to place above the left-hand longeron to establish a level platform for the empenage to sit on. I will build in a second F 10 bulkhead with a truly vertical centerline to form the foundation for the vertical spar of the tail fin. I will also build in a second F 11 bulkhead to form the support for the tailwheel spring. And I will remake the F 12 bulkhead to fit the new tail shape, and also add the revised tail spring support from the service bulletin on the thatcher web site.
