Brief Description: vacuum forming the wing leading edge
I used the vacuum forming process to bend the leading edge. This was my first attempt at vacuum forming, and it went surprisingly well. I put a couple of minor kinks into the skin in the process of rolling the skin around the pipe in preparation for the forming. I was trying a little too hard to alighn the two edges at exactly 3/4 of an inch offset before the forming, and in the process of trying to tape those edges I kinked the skin. But the kinks were small, and away from the actual radius of the skin, so I think I'll be able to press them out.
