Day 006 Engine Mount.. Again..

More Photos and Further Notes can be seen at Build Log Day 6.

A Good Nights work, getting home late, I managed to take the plunge with the brackets labeled 596, they should have been 390 according to the UK build Manual, but I suspect that a lot has changed, and not having the French instructions, well its making it a bit hard for mechanically slow people like myself!

Made up a template just in case the brackets where wrong, and finalized some of the assembly, I found that the black 3mm washers needed to be removed and a single 1mm washer needed to be installed, so I am up two 3mm washers and down two 1mm washers, go figure, I suspect that this might have been a change between the skyranger and the nynja, but who knows.

Got some of the bends out of the way, the 'on and off' of the parts from the airframe is starting to get frustrating, but at the end of the day if it all fits like it should its going to be a better aircraft.

As Normal it seems that there is a 7.9mm drill in use in the factory, I ran my new 8mm drill through the braces and pulled a little bit of metal out, and everything just slides in now. According to others this is the norm.
