Another Order From AS&S, this one is slightly out of sequence with the others as it took a little longer to get some of the parts in from various sites, and I made a decision to swap out some of the parts they where having troubles finding, with units that where a little more available, Yes I can hear you screaming at the PC, saying 'You dont even have the Kit Yet!!', I would prefer to have the equipment here and ready to go, so that in the time that I do have I can get more done with less stuffing around.
What goodies did I get in this Order!
Not a lot but its one of the items that I really wanted, but ummed and arred about it for quite a while before purchasing it due to the costs, and not being able to get a lot of real information (well that I could find anway!)
I purchased a set of Navigation Lights from Aeroleds, that in combination with the landing light and the Tail Light, I'm going to be one of the most visable aircraft in the sky, and where I fly, at times thats a good thing!
These units are VERY light, very power economical and VERY bright, They give the navigation set towards the front, the White strobe towards the back and use very little power. There is a RV-6/7? Up at the aerodrome that has the white only varients of this that likes to fly around the patch, and he's always visable, and this is what I am looking for, If people can see me coming they can get out of my way, and I can get out of there way, so many times there are aircraft that fly closeby, and there is a funny suspscion that they have not noticed you or may not even be on the local frequency to tell them even if they where up to something they shouldnt be!
