Brief Description: Rev 1-31-12-Detail 02 R/L and 03 R/L-Cutout detail
Elongated openings in bulkhead #3 with die grinder and single flute burr. Drilled 2 holes in bulkhead #2. Made small fly cutter out of old wood boring bit to drill the 1/2 inch holes called for. Sharpened the bit with very sharp points and filed more relief away from points. Drilled small pilot hole in the proper location and clamped piece of scrap wood on back side of cut. Point of bit bored through pilot hole into wood and that kept bit centered. Applied light pressure using cordless drill at slower speed and ended up with nice penetration. Didn't have a small hole saw and didn't want to use a regular 1/2 inch bit as I was worried it might catch.
