Located and drilled the holes for the LH and RH static ports. Masked off the area around the static ports, removed the paint and scuffed and cleaned the surface. Prepped and cleaned the surfaces for the rudder cable exit fairings. Cut a board with 5 degree angles on each end that was sized so that it will wedge between the two ports to apply bonding pressure. Started to mix up pro seal to bond the static ports and rudder exit fairings but the pro seal which is two years old (left over from the wing tanks) was partially cured. So I ordered more and put the parts in a bag for safekeeping until the replacement pro seal is here.
Began fabrication of an equipment tray for the battery compartment. The tray will mount to the bottom of the Van's supplied batter tray and will provide stiffened surfaces to mount the ELT and the ADS-B transponder
