Fabricated the exit tube and mounting bracket for the engine driven fuel pump overflow line. Drilled the exit hole in firewall lower flange and installed a snap bushing in the hole. Riveted the bracket to the firewall and attached the exit tube to the bracket with zip ties. Connected the fuel pump overflow line to the fuel pump and the exit tube.
Modified the mixture control bell crank mount to fit my Superior engine and bolted the bellcrank to the engine. Did a trial install of the fuel injection servo and attached the mixture linkage. This set up results in an angle that will cause the side of the forward rod end to contact the mixture arm. It appears that the linkage was designed to work with a different fuel servo then I have. I will probably end up moving the mixture cable to the bottom of the engine sump and fabricating a bracket to hold it in place there as other builders have done. I’ll most likely need to buy a longer mixture cable from Van’s
