Brief Description: Canopy skirt aft section work etc
Sanded the aft end of the canopy skirt and applied spot putty. When that dried I sanded it and then sprayed the aft end of the canopy with high build primer.
Sprayed clear coat over the labels on the ELT access door and the canopy latch.
Sanded the spot putty on the wing tips and sprayed them with high build primer.
Removed the canopy slide block from the canopy frame and drilled a #40 hole in it for the cotter pin. Discovered that the specified cotter pin is too short to go all the way through the slide block so I installed safety wire instead for now and I'll order longer cotter pins to replace the safety wire with .
