Removed the flaps and trimmed the inboard edges of the top and bottom skins to allow a 1/16 inch gap between the flaps and fuselage.
Removed the flap push rods from the flaps and added an additional washer to the rod end threads as allowed by the plans and reinstalled the rod ends in the flaps. This will provide additional clearance between the pushrods and fuselage opening.
Reinstalled the flaps and connected the pushrods to the flap actuator weldment. Ran the flaps up and down through their full range of motion and marked areas where the pushrods were still making contract with the fuselage skin. Removed the pushrods and trimmed the openings. Reinstalled the pushrods.
Hooked up the flap position sensor.
Connected a laptop to the VPX-pro and used the VPX configurator to set the up and down limit positions of the flaps.
