I decided to order a replacement rear spar because I got a little trigger happy with the foot trigger while dimpling the LH rear spar and put an extra hole next to the one that supposed to be there. I sent photos to van's technical support and they recommended replacement.
So while waiting for the new part I decided to start riveting the front spar. I used the pneumatic squeezer on those rivets that I could get to with the 4" yoke but there were a number that couldn't be reached due to the flanges on the spar or reinforcement angles. I could buck them but my preference is to squeeze since it should result in more consistent rivets so I decided to order a longeron yoke from Avery. I've been planning to order one anyway since I'm bound to need it multiple times before the airplane is finished.
There were a couple that didn't pass the quality check, even though they were installed using the squeezer so I drilled them out which went will without the need for oversize rivets.
Front spar riviting in work - need longeron yoke to get to the rest
