Brief Description: Cockpit storage panel - RH side
Cut out a 4-inch-wide piece of .032 inch aluminum sized to fit on top of the pilot’s right hand arm rest spanning from the F-805-R-1 bulkhead to the F-804N-1 cap. Drilled #30 holes in the plate, bulkhead, armrest and cap to rivet the plate to the fuselage to provide an area to store loose items such as checklists and my iPad.
Scuffed, cleaned, primed, painted and baked the plate and attached it to the fuselage using blind rivets.
Cut and drilled a second plate which will be mounted on the left-hand side opposite from the one installed today
