Took advantage of the nearly 70 degree day to bond a Reiff hot strip oil pan heater to the back of the oil pan using the adhesive that came with it. After cleaning the faying surfaces I applied the adhesive to the heater strip and placed it on the back of the oil pan. I used duct tape hold it in place while it cures.
I draped moving blankets over the engine to contain as much heat as possible and clamped a heat lamp to the motor mount aimed at the pad.
I also have Reiff cylinder heat bands but they clamp on rather than bond on so they can be installed later.
Reinstalled the aft baggage shelf and bulkhead.
Adhered foam weather stripping under the aft edge of the canopy skirt to fill the gap between the skirt and the fuselage when the canopy is closed.
