Removed the forward half of both wheel farings. Used my laser level to mark the location and drill f each of the holes that mount the forward halves to the bracket. This involved lining up laser cross hair on the center of one of the nutplates. Replacing the forward fairing half. Drilling at the location, countersinking the screw holes and removing the forward faring half again. Repleated this for each of the four holes.
Removed the wheel fairings, clecoed them together on the bench, masked off the forward half one inch in front of the split line and began sanding the surface to remove the gell coat so that I can apply some epoxy/micro to built up the surface to make it match the aft half.
