Countersunk LH flap spar. The bottom flange fo the flap sparts get countersunk rather than dimpled because the inside of the flange needs to be flat so that the hinge fits correctly.
Cut the hinge to remove three eyelets nar the center. Cut and bent the hinge pin so that it can be secured to the spar web. Fabricated hinge pin retainer plates from hinge scraps. Drilled the retainer plates and web with a #19 drill for clearance for a #8 screw. Drilled the spar for a #8 nutplate.
Removed vinyl from the IML of the LH flap skins. Cut vinyl strips from the LH flap skins. Began deburring LH flap ribs.
