Brief Description:  Crank Case Preparation

Separated the case halves and cleaned them using water and then mineral spirits. The objective is to remove all dust and metal chips/shavings clinging to the edges of the machined surg=faces. I used compressed air to dry and blow out any lose debre.

I chose to paint my case and cylinders so I followed the instructions of the video to mask and paint.

After the Fact Note based on later experience:
1. I wish I knew more about how the machined areas needed to look while I was completing this task. Later I had an issue with sticking Oil Releif and Control Valves that may have been caused by a bur left during the machining process of those ports.
2. The engine paint did not hold up that well, so if I had to do it again I probably would not paint the case, or maybe I should have researched and acquired a better paint.
