Brief Description:  Fitting fuselage halves & battery box work

Continue work fitting the fuselage halves together. Clecoed the rear fuselage bottom skin in place to help insure proper alignment of the two halves. Overall fit is pretty good although alignment at the bottom sides is pretty tight. Curently the halves, skin and splice plates are clecoed with 3/32" clecos so when I updrill to 1/8" and AN3 bolts, everything should fit fine.

I Engine Turned the .032 aluminum that will wrap around the battery and hold it in place. Next job will be to bend the sheet and attach the side hinges. Will hopefully get the battery box finished tomorrow.

I'm debating whether to add an additional angle spanning the width of the fuselage immediately behind the tank to prevent it from sliding backwards and more importantly to prevent the top stringers from bending inward when the tank straps are tightened. I'm also looking for some thin rubber sheet I can attach to the front and possible rear angles to cushion the tank.
