Brief Description: Working on fuselage forward bottom section
Clecoed together the fuselage bottom section. Fit fairly well although I need to make new ONX-F08-14 brackets. The ones I got with the angle kit were pilot drilled but the two holes that connect to the bottom stringers are about 3/16" too low. If I redrill where they should be, I will probably meet the existing holes creating a mallformed rivet hole. Fortunately I bought an assortment of angle stock from ACS so I will be able to make new brackets.
Also, the ONX-F08-06 front angle is drilled incorrectly. The holes near the center of the piece that should line up with the F12-10 brace are drilled on the opposite side of F13-03. Not a big deal, I can drill new holes in the correct location and the extra holes in the incorrect location will not be a problem.
Next job is to updrill the skin and angles to #30 for riveting.
