Bent and riveted seat sling; also assembled a seat bottom brace & hinge. Checked the hinge on the seat back and determined I could not insert the hing pin from the end thus requiring the removal of some hinge loops in the center, same as done for the other two seat hinges. Glad I had not yet riveted the seat back hinge to the fuselage box assembly.
Also appears the plan measurements for the shorter hinge pins are 1/2" too short. At least the pins for the center seat hinge are and I assume the pins for the front hinge are also too short. Plans call for a pin 8 9/16" but should be 9 1/16" . I think Sonex changed the length of the center seat hinge but did not change the pin length.
I can't find the plans call-out for the hinge half that attaches to the wing spar top for the front of the seat. I assume it is the same as the center seat hinge in length with two loops removed from the center. If that is the case, then the hinge pins for this hinge also need to be 9 1/16" rather than 8 9/16".
I am going to wait on riveting the top seat hinge to the seat sling. If for some reason the seat does not fit, the distance from the center hinge to the rear hinge not long enough, I can make a new top hinge and adjust the length somewhat. Will be easier than drilling out a bunch of rivets first.
Also worked a bit getting the front and rear fuselage attach brackets to fit better. Trimmed the inside edges of the F21-07 brackets some more so they fit into the inside radius of the longerons better.
