Brief Description: Work on seat sling & flap detent bracket.
Updrilled to #30 the three hinges to the seat sling. Also marked the sling for bending. Match drilled & updrilled the flap detent bracket assembly to the side angles. Made a couple different shims for the lower attach brackets that join the front and rear fuselage assemblies. The 1/8" shims provided in the kit were too thick and did not allow the holes in the lower horizontal braceF19-05 to line up properly with side former f22-01. Also the bottom skin would not be able to sit flush along the lower rear stingers and the horizontal brace F19-05. I ended up making a .090 for the right side and a .063 for the left side. Not sure why the two sides are different, will double check tomorrow and make sure the attach brackets are fully seating against each other and the stringers.
