Made new fairing blanks out of 20 ga 6061 and bent to shape. First bent the flages and then used a 3/8" oak dowell and a jig made out of 1 1/2" by 1/8" angle aluminum. Basically pounded the dowell into the fairing blank over the jig. This formed the curved tunnel for the rudder cables. Doubt if I could have made the parts using the supplied 25 ga aluminum. Would have needed a bigger bending brake and a metal rod and probably a stronger jig and arbor press. Still need to make the rear wheel spring fairing and 4 aileron and flap fairings.
