The past 2 weekends I did not physically worked much on my RV6 project. I had to do my annual on my C150 and have been approach to sell it. In fact I might sell it because I will be able to concentrate more on finishing the RV6. So I went flying maybe 2 1/2 hrs but as you know that actually took at least 5 hours to get ready & come back home, so lots of RV building time that got replaced by that for one thing.
I have also did an other major garage clean up again ... amazing how more spacious it looks when all tools are stored properly. But that took also a good 4-5 hours !
Also, one other thing I did was changing / upgrading the floors upstair in two of the 3 bedrooms and on the hallway. Much nicer PLUS it adds up my airloose bank points with my wife ... you have to keep a certain balance to please the better half or the airplane might never see light ! Besaide, she really wanted this work to be done before summer. I still have to do the baseboard but I consider it complete. But that too me 3 days !
What I have done is a lot of research on the Dynon panel I think of buying. I think I much closer of a purchase than of a thinking state. I feel that If I buy everything now, I will be able to do some of the install that are located in the tail as accessibility will be difficult once I rivet the top skin.
The 3 hours I report were for drilling a few holes, and looking at the project thinking about the work sequence that is coming up.
So all in all, I have made tiny progress but got tons of airloose points !
