I did a few things today. See description below pictures. Hopefully my fuel tank should be finish within a few weeks. Also not shown, I installed the fuel level sensor and tested them.
I have ordered the fuel pickup tube from Vans but they have not arrived yet. I also bought extruded hinges for the flaps from Aircraft Spruce to replace those that came with the kit; flaps works hard and I have been told that sometime on the inboard side, they tend to brake. I also I bought the Andair fuel valve. Finally I bought from Flyboy, a gascolator. I know I am early but I like to prepare myself ahead rather than wait at last minute.
