Brief Description: Drilling & deburring LW top skin & LE
|
|
Lots of work for very no visible change .... finished drilling the under side of the LE skin of the LW. Then dismantled LE and both top skins ...and deburred . Finally, organized my small space area for next weekend .... it is surprising how tools gets spread out all over the place !
I use a deburring cutting tool mounted in an air drill, I set pressure very low, like 10 psi and it works well although this is quite boring task that has to be done.,,,no way around it.
Next weekend, I plan to debur the ribs and spars. Then I will dimple all those holes. Then I plan in priming all the inside of the skins, reinstall everything on the structure of the wing. Finally, I think I should have time to rivet the LE skin on the ribs ...
If this goes as plan, I will start working on the fuel tank in 2 weekends.
