Brief Description:  Cockpit almost ready

Long day today but many errands are done. First as I started this morning, I completed the tightening of the cables and ensured every wires were secure, inside the tunnel and out in the bay behind the panel. Then, I hooked up the EarthX battery monitoring wire to the EMS. I vacuum everything, then on to the flaps. Connected the wire (some needed to be shorten) and then fitted for the last time the box around the electric actuator. Finally cut the carpet strips , not permanently installed but they are ready to be fixed with double face tape after the inspection. I also reinstalled the flying handle on the removable stick.

There are only 4 wires to connect (for the removable stick handle) and all the wiring is done.

If you recall, I removed the plunger for the manual trim which left a hole in the handle. I bought a snap-on metal cap 1" that fit perfectly. You can see it in the third picture.

One last thing ... I bought 2 expensive vents in 2021 and both were installed in my panel and untouched ever since. As I was checking out everything, the left side vent had a broken snap ring which caused the opening to be free spinning ! A bummer. I managed to get a hold of a nice man at Aveo Engineering who manufactured the aluminium vents and I returned my part for them to inspect. Today they told me they were replacing it and have shipped out a replacement vent. I am quite happy.

At any rate, if you buy something from Aveo Engineering, you are in good hands. Their service is impeccable and their product is quality, I was just unlucky ! .... Just saying !
