Brief Description:  Spinner final drilling & gap filler plates install

Today I worked on finishing drilling both bulkhead and got to think about the balancing. It is almost impossible that it would be perfect when you think of the things that went on the spinner: 3/8" fiberglass ring, some bondo as additionnal filler, then the screws which they would be pretty much equal spaving but not perfectly because the prop goes through the 2 bulkheads. Then you add these two gap filler plates in the back end of the prop which I would be supprise they weight exactly the same !

About the gap filler plates, I was surprised how close they were against each other ... in fact they were almost identical.

It was a long "attention to detail" day ! Now that all the rough is done, I must wait for the floating nut plate I ordered today because I had #10 size on hand and Vans require #8 size machine screws.

The rest that will be required will be the gap visual between the end of the cowling and the spinner. I am not certain despite all the precautions I took, that it will be a perfect parallelism; so there might be more fiberglass work to do.
