Brief Description:  Spinner cutting

Slowly but surely, I have completed 90% of the spinner/propeller work. Today, I cut the forward bulkhead so it could sit on the propeller's hub. I made a cardboard template, and lay down the prop on the dinner table !

Then an other template to cut the spinner. I finished by sanding the edge so the contour looked OK for now.

Next I put together the prop with the prop extension and in between those two parts I sandwidched the rear bulkhead.

Last, I could not wait by installing the prop on the aircraft and test the fit of the spinner. Work well done and I am happy with the result. Now it does start to look like an airplane ! I am thrilled !

The last thing to do is to drill the bolt holes on the spinner along with doing the small lid in the back of the prop to close off the cut out area.

It starts to smell the paint !
