Brief Description: Baffle and cooling questionning
During my last 2 days it was basically the same thing as previously started. I am still finishing the baffles, which required a second round of trimming on the pilot side. and started questionning myself on the cooling air required ... Mags (2 X 5/8"), alternator & back up alternator (2 X 5/8") and there is that 2" hole to feed the heat muff.
I bought 2 heat muff and although I have not yet decided, one suggested to me to connect them in series to get much warmer air ... I am checking with Vetterman to see his thoughts but that seems to be the best option as adding a second 2" hole flange would certainly affect the plenum pressure , hence it could affect the cooling of the engine in summer months.
