Brief Description:  Scoop fixing & starting installing the baffles

When working with epoxy, either for fiberglassing or to do some fillets, what you need is time because it has to dry before going on next step. You also need to prepare yourself well before mixing because there is a setting time before it turns in a solid state. Also in the preparation there is the rough sanding and constant cleaning to avoid making a mess ! At any rate, most of the fiberglassing of the cowling is done, although I do have some sanding to do and most likely a final to epoxy coating that I will cover with a peel ply to obtain a finish as close as possible toa ready state for paint !

While waiting, I started assembling the baffle components and as per the instruction, you start at the cylinder 4 where the oil cooler is going. I debated to install the oil coller where it is suggested laterally because I will be using a system to control how much air will go through the oil cooler. Locating it where suggested, the trap system would interfere with the engine mount. So I elected to go as far left (pilot side) as possible; I considered also the opening for not blocking any of the oil cooler fins. Position like that, it seems to be in a good position because I tested it with the top cowling in position.

Those few things took me the whole day ! Amazing as I thought I'd be far more advance. But the good part is I am ahead of where I was yesterday !
