I think I finally manage to get past the thoughest part of the cowling installation which is trimming then followed by installing the side hinges .
The fit is pretty nice although there will be some fiberglass work to do. I also elected to install a pin stopper behind an oval plaque that you see in dotted line. I've seen that on an RV7 I think and it looked great. But I think the ease of accessing to those pins is easier and it will give a nice finish.
Vacations are over now but I am please with my progress. I've put in about 70.5 hours this week, so progress is now visible which makes me come closer to fly my dreamed airplane ! Man this is a beautiful aircraft !
