Brief Description:  Rough fitting the cowling

For the last 2 days, I've been at trying to rough fit the cowling following the instructions. Needless to say that I have decided to follow my own fitting system because it seems more logical.

I found there are many issues with those cowlings ... one is they twist over time and that makes it thougher to get it straight. I thought the bottom was not long enough on the firewall circumference. But after trimming and fitting it, it is big enough and too long as well.

Working alone has it's challenge so to hold the cowling in place I built a small table that has an angle to it. That works quite well.

Overall my progress are slower than expected but that has been the usual findings I've had for the last 6 years sinceI started this project. I still have 3 days to go ... I hope that by Sunday the cowling will be 90% complete ...
