Brief Description:  Aithre CO detector & F-671 skin

This past few weeks I've tried to resolve the CO detector reading and been confering with Aithre & Dynon. Long story short, the reading had a 15 ppm offset. Let's say that the output was 15 ppm for a .4686 mV. I've gone testing the Aithre EX-2 , swith the ground from the main groud block to the EMS C37 (one of the ground pin) changed the EMS pin from 4 (first) (wire transmitting the voltage to the EMS, to 23 and then to 31 to finally returned to 4. This last changed, auto-resolved everything as for the same mV of 0,4686 the reading now is 0. No one can explain this and neither can I. But at least I got it working !All this for a piece of mind !

Finally most of my weekend was devoted to install nut plates for holding down the F-671 skin. That is one big debate resolved because I could not bring myself to rivet that skin by fear of whishing to have it screwed on for the possibility of removing it in case of the need to work the wires or anything major that might occur. But that is a tedious task. In all that time, aside preparation, I only managed to install 2/3 of them inabout 16 hours ... that is an average of 9 minutes per nut plate : drill main hole through skin with #8 screw size drill, then remove, then drilling 2 holes #40 per nut plate, deburr, dimples or countersink when space did not aloow, rivet each one with a hand tool or the pop rivert in some location where there was no space.
