Brief Description:  Completed all connections that were possible

This weekend was a continuation of some evening work where my goal was to complete all connections that were possible, missing and followed that by testing them.

I had to redo the GPS 175 high density Dsub because when there are few pins in it, and I found that out, the risk of bending one's high ! Also should a change be required, the pins only need to be removed from the Dsub ready to be put to use after crimping ! Thanks to Paul Langlois to help me with that !

I also installed the video feed for the camera that will be up front to see ground obstacle. I actually connected it with the power feed of the cabin lights that draw almost no power at all.

I also ran into the black screen issue which was fixed by Dynon support by sending a corrective file to load on the screens. It worked for a few days and I had to resend them an other email because the problem reappeared today. Apparently their Engineering is having difficulty to isolate the source of the problem but I am confident they will. FYI what triggered the problem was activating the reversion feature . But my second black screen now is certainly not because of that feature because I turned it off after the first episode.

Overall, all is working as it should with few problems encountered.

Among he problems, two were because some pins in the VPX were not fully inserted. An other one was that I had a transmission wire in the network that was inserted into an empty hole of it's 9 pins Dsub ... no harm but the fun part was that the HDX screen told me where the problem was and what was the problem. The fix was super easy !  I also had misunderstood the alarm functions of 2 circuits that work from the PPS (primary power supply). I thought the circuits had to be normally open but needed to be normally closed. That needed simply to reverse the switches so it looks like the switch lever would be in the proper position. (Flip up to open and reset the circuit)

I even tested the auto dimming feature which works as a charm. The VPX screen is
