Brief Description:  Adding more things on the firewall

I had a surprise today ...I found out that my oil separator was in the way of the backup alternator. So before proceding to move it to an other location, I took 3 hours to locate the oil separator, the 2 pressure probe on the manifold and to position the red cube. I also made a box that has the same dimension as the battery to visualise the space required to slide it in and out.

So the oil separator moved on the pilot side, the manifold below the PPS and that took the whole day. But this time, I think it will work. As for the red cube, that has been quite a challenge . I called the company to understand where to install and what were the restrictions. Here is a small list:
1. After the mecanical pump
2. Must have a straight line in and out of the Cube
3. Must be floating , not solidely fixed to anything ... that includes the engine, the mecanical fuel pump, etc ....
With the space and where that tube needs to go, there are very little options. I looked at what others have done and most do not respect the stated condition above for all excellent reason. I might do one thing incorrect, which would be to put a 45 deg. fitting coming out of the redcube because that hiose will need to make a 180 degre turn to go down to the servo ... I will try a staight fitting first but I think a 45 degree will be required. I shall see ...

Learning as I go is quite challenging. There are many consideration one needs to think before installing anything on the firewall. It's a small area and there are a lot of items that interfere with other equipment.
