Today I prepared the top firewall hinges and fasten them at few places so they would be in place even if the top skin is not riveted in place. I would like to keep it open longer for ease of access between the sub panel and the firewall.
Next I installed the engine mont and fastened it in place, final. That done I was able to raise the fuselage with my hydrolic lift to slide in place the gear legs prior of fastenning them in place. That took a long time because of the paint that had got inside the tubes.
Tomorrow, I will get a metal angle to check on the gear leg alignment and will proceed in locking them in place and shall add the wheels to them hopefully.
