Not much time these past 2 weekends ... Today I managed to cut the 2 access trap for easier access to the VPX , HDX backup batteries and the voltage regulators. It will also permit to work on the wiring, should this is required in the future. That zone is not an easy place to check from the inside.
Locating the access plate , cutting the two holes, preparing the doubler , cutting the pannels ... I 've put down 5 hours but I think it took me longer because the fitting of the two panels 0,032" in their respective hole requires a lot of slow progress of filing . The doublers are 0,040" thick. I plan to install for each pannel 12 nutplates.
