Late in logging my last weekend work. I have finally completed the wiring except for the wings equipment (pitot, landing light, position light, etc ... and the tail light. For the most part everything is completed. There are a few other connection to be made such as the defog fans, the canopy contact warning (to advise if it is not in a lock position) but those are pretty simple.
I have strated to finalize the fixing of the piano hinge for the cowling but ran out of rivets. This was in order to complete the installation of the engine mount because I will soon bring the engine and install it.
Then I tried to re-install the canopy and found that the radio and theDsub hub was in the way of the canopy reinforcement so I have relocalized them. Nothing too complex.
Finally, I have started to work (re-do) the forward skin to replace the first one I installed a while back. It was not fitting nicely and it needed also a large cover to have access where all the wires are routed . In the forward area, between the firewall and the sub panel, I have many important equipment and wire looms that I want to have an easier access than crawling under and try to fix something should that is required.
Next weekend is a 3 days weekend which I hope to progress enough and be ready to attach the engine.
